Explore Old Town Budva

Since the history of Budva is contained in churches and museums scattered within the charming red-tiled historic center, the guide will take you around the old town, a corner of Venetian and Mediterranean architecture.

In ancient times, the town was located on an island that later was connected to the mainland by a sandy isthmus and turned into a peninsula. With a history of more than 2500 years, Budva is one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast.

On the walking tour, you will see prominent landmarks, including the Citadela Fortress, originally known as Castle of St Mary and an archaeological museum.
