History and Wine Tour

The military history of Vis is something you do not want to miss on. The history of this island holds many secrets. The tour continues through six small villages, brimming with small theaters, churches, and old school buildings.

Nature and the lifestyle in these villages will amaze you, as well as the secrets, legends, and real stories behind every corner of the Vis island, your local guide will be happy to share with you. The next stop is Komiza, a fishermen’s town, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a lovely view.

After the history lessons, it is the time for a glass of wine. Wine making has a long history on the island of Vis, dating back to the Greeks.

You will visit a 120-year-old family-owned winery, located in the former British base from the post-Napoleonic War.

They will show you how they are making their famous organic wines.
