Old town Bol

Bol is situated on the southern part of the Brac island, and is the oldest town on the coast. This little town was founded long ago and became an extraordinary tourist oasis due to the wide gravel and sandy beaches that expand over 10km.

It is highly recommended that you visit Zlatni Rat- arguable the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic sea that moves from side to side as it plays otherworldly games with the wind and waves.

Above this spellbinding beach are the Bol Hills, the Illyrian fortress of Kostilo (660m) and the Videova Gora (778m)- the highest peak of the Adriatic islands.

We can assure that you’ll be fascinated by the crystal clear water, wonderful nature, and the beauty of the stony island houses- famously sung about by Croatian poet Tin Ujevic. The Mediterranean spirit of this gorgeous town is not lost. The narrow, stony roads and wide piazzetas are simply and typical noisy.

Visit Bol today and unlock an abbundance of ancient history.
