Where to eat


Set amid fields 8 km south of Vis Town, this winery restaurant is one of the very best places in Croatia. The family-owned and operated tavern & winery is the best place to experience the authentic Croatian dish called Peka and the countryside tavern atmosphere makes it that much more special.

Villa Kaliopa

The restaurant is located in a gothic-renaissance garden dating back to the 16th century. The place is famous for its traditional Dalmatian food with the preference of the fish menu.

Fields of the Grace

The owner and chef of the restaurant had spent most of his life in Australia and Hong Kong. Where was trained for a classically chef and completed training at the 10 Michelin-rated restaurants Le Chateau in Melbourne. With the qualification of as a master teacher, he came back in Croatia to open his own restaurant –  Fields of Grace Vineyards estate
